In 1958, Scott McMurry’s mother mailed a postcard from Chicago to her son at home on Clairmount Avenue in Decatur, Ga. Last week, it arrived on Clairmount Lane in South Daytona, Florida. That resident posted a photo of the card on Facebook, and her social network helped locate its intended recipient (he lives in Virginia now). McMurry, who is 71, finally got the message from his mom: “We’ll probably be home before this gets here!”
