"The fact that PDOIS can't hold rallies is not because Yahya bars them from holding rallies, it is because they cannot draw more than a 100 people to any rally. The IGP does not deny PDOIS permits to hold rallies. And they still can't hold a rally. In order to hold pseudo-rallies, they engage in solo fact-finding missions for witch-hunt. Since when does anyone need a bullhorn for a fact-finding mission??? Don't make us laugh. Nobody wants to join PDOIS to fight any battle because PDOIS is not reliable and they are ever-schemin'"

The above are not new charges at all. We have heard them many times before. What is essential to clarify here is regardless of the crowds each political party can draw to a rally, one fact is indisputable; ie. both UDP and PDOIS are in the opposition.

PDOIS teaches basic civic awareness to citizens so that the citizens understand why they need to change their government. UDP on the other hand chant war slogans, but this has not brought them any closer to government than PDOIS.

War slogans may be good only when you can take the heat for them. UDP chants them, and when the heat is up, they take to their heels. Remember the day after 1996 General elections, Darboe was taking a nap at the Senegalese Embassy in Bakau. Remember the day after APRC militant, Alieu Njie was killed in Basse, That morning, a big crowd was forming at the Basse Police Station, when i was going to work. I enquired, i was told Darboe was taking refuge there. I don't know how you call these types of men.

In my tribe, if you chant a war slogan, and a battle breaks out, you don't run. You man up and settle for a bloody show down!!!!
