I have voted absentee ballot since 1994. What cave are you living in? Do you know who you're talking to? When we say diasporans can't vote, we're not talking about Haruna. I'm just working so you too can friggin vote without having to ruin your Thanksgiving vacation flying through Kaolack.

On another note Badou, what shipping company do you use most to ship your "customers' stuff. There are 3 really good shipping companies that do not steal your stuff and claim the container fell overboard in the Atlantic. I wanna see if its safe shipping with your lil behind. Say Hi to your sister for me. With an APRC-issued voters card you shouldn't have any problems voting absentee. You fake opposition kill me all the time with your clever posturings. Its only PDOIS you can fool. You don't fool me.
Haruna.

Et tu Ndokeh???? badou of Kaolack, can you sit in for me at Sotokoto-TV and Freedomradio? I'm not made for radio or TV. I'm taylor-made for the intinet. New Amarikans. Ndokeh Thanx for the invite. I look forward to the opportunity someday. Will speak with you about it. I think you get the most hilarious guests. I was listening one day and some idiot came on asking what your name was. I had to turn my hamm radio off for a minute to digest that question. Who on this green earth doesn't know Ndokeh's name? Its not like the BBC is censored anywhere in the world. What cave has that man been living in? Ndokeh you need to start cutting these idiots off before they say two words. I think you need a call screener. There's an idea!!!!!!!!!! Lemme know, Lemme know.

Haruna. I love you men. Are you gonna have Miss Franklinton or Louisburg on anytime soon. Or has she fled with the year's supply of Lee press-on nails????????????

Vat is zis Ndokeh???? Thanx for nothing. When we want news about Yahya, we will go to Freedomnewspaper. What is new in this palaver you share with us. I'm getting upset with you.

Haruna. And there are a lot of funny ideas in Yahya's gaucherie. I just am not in the mood tonight or I'll make you laugh so hard, you'd regret sharing it with us. BTW, I think your radio programmes are hilarious and fantastique as Youssou Ndure is wont to quip. Cheep it up Nderry. Good work.

Haruna.

'I will not campaign for 2011 election' Africa » Gambia« prev1 of 3next

Wednesday, July 14, 2010The Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Dr

lhaji Yahya Jammeh has declared that he will not campaign in the upcoming 2011

residential Election, saying he is optimistic of a landslide victory. President

ammeh made this declaration Monday night while addressing thousands of people

uring a meeting in Farafenni, as part of his 'Dialogue with the people tour'."I

ill never work for any opposition in this country anymore and I will not beg

ou the Badibunkas and Kiankas to vote for me, whether you join the APRC or not

will win," he averred, and continued:"Come 2011, whether you
vote for me or

ot, I will win and I will not beg you the people of North Bank Region,

specially Salikene and Njaba Kunda to vote for me. If you want development you

ave to join the majority and support me but if any area chooses to be with the

pposition, let them go ahead and expect no benefit from my government. What I

id for you, in the past 400 years of British rule [and 30 years of the First

epublic] you were not able to get it." The Gambian leader reminded the people

f NBR that before 1994, traveling in the region used to be a nightmare for

hem. "In fact, what I had expected you to ask me and what you have asked were

uite different, but be assured that your concerns are noted," he said. The

resident made it very clear that he will not and will never beg anybody to vote

or him, and that no coup can remove him as he came with a clear mission and has

o accomplish that mission until such a
time he wants to retire and hand over

he mantle of leadership. He then told the people of Salikene in Central

addibou to manifest their support to him in the next presidential election,

iting them [Salikeneh] and Kiang West as the two major areas that form the

ajority of the opposition, and urged them to either change or forget about his

overnment's development. Speaking earlier, Mamadou Tangara, the minister of

oreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, who doubles as

he liaison officer for NBR, thanked the people of the region for coming out in

arge numbers to welcome the president and entourage, adding that there could be

o meaningful development in any nation without progress. He informed the

athering that the major water project underway in the region is near completion

nd that the demand for the expansion of potable drinking water projects will

oon be a thing of the
past. Responding to some of the issues raised by the

eople in the area of accessibility to some farm inputs and the price of

ertilizer, Kalifa Kambi, deputy minister of Agriculture assured that the

overnment would look into the price as demanded by the farmers to see how best

hey can make it affordable for everyone. He also advised those who appealed for

he government to help them separate salt water from fresh water in their farms

or effective rice cultivation, to write a proposal to the Participated

ntegrated Water Management Programme (PIWAMP) outlining their request. Other

peakers at the meeting included Momodou Kendeh Dibba, chief of Central

addibou District ; Ebrima Ansu Tamba Jammeh, chief of Illiassa District; Modou

ham, on behalf of the Gambia Transport Control Association, Farafenni Branch;

nd Honourable Lamin Jammeh, National Assembly member for Illiassa among

thers. The meeting was chaired by Hon. Suku Singhateh, National Assembly Member

or Lower Baddibou and APRC desk officer for NBR and was characterised by

onation of sheep and bulls to the president by various chiefs and some

usinessmen as appreciation for the development projects he brought to the

egion. Author: by Musa Ndow & Hatab Fadera on tourMedia Actions Email to a
