Another year has rolled by, and I am congratulating you on this auspicious
occasion. You may wish to note that I am also a birthday mate, May 25th
1973.

Over the years I’ve been pursuing the effort to gain an audience with you
but to no avail, in order to express my gratitude to the National
Developments in various Sectors and your stern quest and unflinching desire
for the Empowerment of Women in general, a recent case in point the
appointment of the First Army Women General. Your goodwill effort will not
go in vain and to say the least my very own children do admire your ongoing
Development Projects for The Gambia Population.

Finally, Mr. President I would anticipate and long to meet with you this
time around in the most possible convenience. Pleas accept the assurance on
my highest consideration. May the Almighty Go grant you and your family long
life, good health, peace, prosperity and more birthdays to come.

I am Alh Abdoulie Kambi, native of Kiang Karantaba but resident at Brikama
Nema. On the occasion of your birthday, it offers me the opportunity to
congratulate Your Excellency, the government and people of The Gambia as we
reflect on this special day. Please kindly allow me to convey to Your
Excellency warmest congratulations from my humble self and the entire
family.

It has been indeed 16 years of meaningful socio-economic development
spanning all sectors of Gambia society since the advent of the second
republic. The country has witnessed rise and growth of health infrastructure
all over the country backed by trained indigenous human capital. Your
Excellency’s personal endeavour in this crucial sector cannot be over
emphasized.

His Excellency may wish to recall during your last dialogue with the people
tour in Niorro Jattaba in the Kiang West District that we had few minutes
discussion regarding the youth Association in the area. They paraded before
you showing their willingness and commitment to change the political
landscape of the people in the area.

Sir that day they were only 22 young men but I wish to inform you that your
advice you gave me has bear fruit. The Association has expanded beyond our
imagination that almost all the elders in the District are rallying behind
the Association. We are fully aware of your invaluable support that the
Association received and continues to receive from Your Excellency. I thank
you very much for your firm position to the Association and the entire
district.

I also seek your forgiveness for voting for the opposition in the past
years, which makes the area undeveloped in all aspect. We have now realized
that Your Excellency’s mission to us is for socio-economic development. I
can assure you that your kind gesture to the people of Kiang West would be
reciprocated in these coming elections and you will know that Kiang West is
for Your Excellency and will ever be yours.

I would like to commend you once again for standing firm behind our youths
Association in order to achieve their objective of winning the seat from the
Opposition. We are proud of Your Excellency and promised that victory is
yours come 24th November 2011, Allah Willing.

I pray to Allah to give you wisdom and strength to transform this country
into Ultra Modern State.
