Kukeh, I share my condolences on the passing of prof. Gamble. He leaves behind a valuable body of work on Gambia that will remind generations of Gambians of him. Indeed he must be remembered.

Dear Colleagues
Prof Judith Carney has just informed me that Prof David Gamble aka
Sambujang Fatty is no more. Passed on at his home in CA early this
morning.
My sincere condolences. The greatest scholar on The Gambia has passed away.
May his soul rest in peace.
