In just a year and a half, President Obama has ended combat operations in Iraq, restored our leadership on the global stage on issues like climate change and human rights, and begun to repair a reputation badly damaged by eight years under George W. Bush.
 
But in 21 days, Republicans want to reverse our course and destroy all President Obama has built. With 15 Senate races within 5 points - and the GOP needing only 10 wins to take the majority - we need your immediate help to stop them.
 
Every seat counts – and every grassroots donation counts. The DSCC must raise $835,300 by midnight Thursday to fight back against the onslaught of Republican attacks. The money you give today can make a difference tomorrow –the growing Democratic strength in Colorado, California and Washington state is proof of your power. But missing this goal could lose us a seat – and the majority.

I strongly support the DSCC because, with corporate special interests pouring hundreds of millions of dollars into attack ads against Democrats, the DSCC's nearly half million grassroots supporters represent our best chance to win. In fact, those supporters have already helped to shift the momentum in several key races.
 
We cannot forget that the GOP needs just 10 of these 15 close races in order to seize control of the Senate. Every seat counts, and every dollar matters, so a contribution of any size will make a difference. If we do not act now, it will soon be too late.
 
We cannot afford to go back to a foreign policy that squanders our global prestige and betrays our true interests and ideals. That means you and I cannot afford to turn our backs on any Democrat willing to support President Obama's vision for a stronger America - not when so much of that vision has already been realized in just a year and a half. We must be able to fight for every seat.
