Just take 'em to the oodles of parties at Kanilai to be toyed with as they fancy. Futampaf. Anyone who bleaches their skin is looking for a larger stage to exhibit their newer skins. Just give the idiots that stage. Don't waste political capital on it.

Gambia Detains Female Soldiers Over Skin Bleaching Allegations!!!
Lieutenant Ramatoulie Sonko Hailed For Promoting Discipline Into The Army

Some female serving members of Gambia’s Armed Forces have been arrested on allegations of “skin bleaching”, military sources said Tuesday. The female soldiers were picked by the military police, following instructions from the army command to subject them to disciplinary measures for violating the army’s code of ethics, and principles, sources told the Freedom Newspaper. The Gambian army does not condone skin bleaching and female officers linked to the practice could face disciplinary actions—up to termination.
Given the health hazards associated with skin bleaching, said our sources, the army command thought it crucially imperative to discipline soldiers linked to the practice. Sources said the arrest of these female serving members of the army was aimed at promoting discipline, and decorum into the force.
A top military official said if soldiers are allowed to bleach their skin, it might send a wrong signal to the civilian community. The officer said the army is expected to set high standards, and should avoid actions that might undermine its reputation.
The main brain behind the enforcement of the anti skin bleaching rule was Lieutenant Ramatoulie Sonko, officer commanding MP Branch Yundum Barracks. She has been hailed for her decisive move in promoting discipline into the force.
Another officer who spoke to the Freedom Newspaper also echoed similar sentiments. Both officer Sonko and her boss Malamin Jarju have been commended for their dedication to safeguard the reputation of the force.
“The officers under the new leadership of Malamin Jarju want to thank officer Sonko for her gallant step in ensuring that this type of attitude is totally wipe out from the force, as this will help clear this menace of skin bleaching,” said a senior army officer.
The majority of the officers who spoke in support of this move, also called on other sister forces to emulate the Armed Forces, saying that this type of attitude should not be tolerated by the army.
They also called on the authorities most importantly the Secretary General Madam Mariama Khan to take disciplinary measures against top government officers who are bleaching their bodies.
It would be recalled that President Jammeh some years ago decreed for the banning of skin bleaching in The Gambia. The President cites health, and religious concerns associated with the practice to outlaw skin bleaching in this country.
