I for one, did not see any wrong to the side of the people to collecting their tax shares which had been distributed in millions to other towns and villages as well as countries much richer than us. Maybe I am sleeping but people on the ground and not. People are poor and "maybe", looking deeper into the back grounds of some of these people crossing the gate of the state house, to giving their loyalty to Jammeh have problems to maintaining their family needs because politics have already taken the centre stage inclusively in our livelihood. The Mandinkas in Gunjur or those of Brufut are not better than those of Bakau, sukuta or provincial mandinkas. Lets not forget the fact that, all these people are not there because they have Jammeh in heart but the unfairly distribution of their tax money which is sidelining them as a rightful beneficiaries too. If one is playing politic to other, other will reciprocate it to you too is a natural law as much, if I am showing off my millions under the eye of the poor, I am welcoming them to my door step everyday hence it gives me a pleasure seeing people knocking onto my door and telling me sweet words even if it does not foretell my future in a practical sense. These are some of the reasons that brought me to the believe that there cannot be hell awaiting us period. If there should be one, then at least 70 to 80 percent of the world population should be rich then there will be a competition on the remaining 20 to 30 percent for a place in heaven. As people are getting more and more hungry, faith will be left on the roadside to struggle for recognition and eventually, adaptations. Edi
