Am no tech geek so can't help with technical functions.

Is another iPhone and it appears the software (IOS 8) functions smoother
than iPhone 4. I can't tell the different with 5/5s. I didn't start using
the added apps such as health - so I don't know.

Hardware - a bit heavier than 5 - I was told because of battery. I didn't
notice much improvement in battery life but am a heavy user so I may not be
a good gauge. With the smooth edges I already drop it several times - still
working fine but how long. I'll stop by Apple Store to get a cover - for
better grip.

Besides the apps I noticed it stores most frequent browsing so you don't
have to type in the address bar

That's my take since 9/19. Hope it can help.
