I think you got a great point Cous Demba. I am not at all in doubt of President Jonathan's sobriety and due-diligence. I was speaking to his "partner's" lack of culture and decorum. And to take Kukeh's money for DUGA.

Thank you for sharing sir Demba.

 Haruna.

Cousin Haruna,

I have a different take on Goodluck Jonathan's visit. May be I am too overly optimistic but I can see some behind the scenes diplomatic work in the making on this visit...

I think the issue of Nigeria's willingness to send troops to Cassamance to help with Macky Sall's policy priority in resolving that issue and of course Jammeh's opposition to that may be on the table for this visit...

We have an editorial on this ... see http://gainako.com/?p=2454 for more details...

We could be wrong but it so smells likes hard core diplomatic negotiations... What do you think?

Thanks

Demba

Kukeh, this is a big waste of time for President Jonathan. I wonder when he'll change his morbid attire of Nyenti Abdou from the somrbrero on the head to the fadu Mjahi on the toes. (: I like President Jonathan. Please don't waste your time and energy with this idiot. Kukeh I'm not a bettin' man but if I were, I'd say the idiot will Never, Never Accept. That is more his limited vocabulary!

Yeap, the commonwealth must beg the professor to common back! After all what commonwealth without His Excellency in the house. Darbo Jula, any tips to good President Jonathan on serenading Yahya "isabarr"? I bet he will demand that president Jonathan crawl on all four! Dare a friendly bet to DUGA that H.E. will:
A. Reluctantly reconsider $15
B. Never, never accept! $20

Nigerian President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will be visiting Banjul this week for a two-day state visit, The Point has been reliably informed.
Jonathan, who will be on his first official visit to Banjul since assuming office as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2010, will be in Banjul from Wednesday 6th to Thursday 7th November 2013, our sources added.
Among others, sources said President Jonathan is expected to discuss cooperation between the two countries with his Gambian counterpart President Yahya Jammeh, and sign a joint communiqué at the end of the visit.
