Virus Alert: PrettyPark.Worm

A new variant of the PrettyPark virus is making its way across the Net.
PrettyPark.Worm infects Windows 95, 98, and 2000 systems, and arrives as
an email attachment called PrettyPark.exe. If you open the attachment,
you may see the Windows 3D tubes screensaver. At the same time, the virus
will periodically try to email itself to everyone in your email address
book. In addition, PrettyPark.Worm will attempt to connect to an IRC
server, where it will transmit information about your PC--including your
ICQ identification number and nicknames, as well as Dial-up Networking
username and passwords--to whoever is spreading the PrettyPark worm.

The best way to protect yourself against PrettyPark is to avoid any
suspicious email attachments. You should also download the latest version
