I saw the show on tv in Amsterdam. I supported Led Zepplin as best band, Hendri, best guitarist and Robert Plant best singer, though it went to Freddy of the super group Queen. The online bass guitar winner FLEA from Red Hot Chilli Peppers, I think he does'nt deserve it like Steward Copeland (Police drummer) said. There are better bass players.
Great show. !

Subject: Greatest guiter Player.. I show myself phoning for Hendrix

Yesterday evening, the live BBC 2 TV vote
on the world's greatest Guiter player left many music fans keenly waiting for the result.
I have never seen Jimi Hendrix played or even heard his music. However, as soon as his picture was placed on the TV, I couldn't but pick up a phone and vote for him. I did it not for the love of his music, since i am glueless about it, but for something else.
Interestingly, when they played some of his Guiter moments, i realise the guy was good at his job.
Jimi Hendrix was voted the gteatest guiter player. Below is him in concert.
