Demba,

You ain't seen nothing yet. Wait for the voluminous analysis coming your way... district by district; courtesy of our learned friends at Foroyaa. It is easy for nincompoops like yourstruly to come to a conclusion. For simpletons like us, it is either nay or yay. You either agree with the results or you don't. But for learned folks, there is a middle ground. You go figure...I dunno. You are the journalist here.

Subject: [G_L] Election Results to Accept or Reject??????

The elections are history, but what is unfolding in regards to the results needs careful pondering. UDP has rightly rejected the elections and are due to come up with evidence and action items!

The United Front on the other hand, issued a statement neither denouncing the results nor accepting the outcome! the devils are in the details and it is upto to every citizen to read between the lines and judge for themselves. This statement seems to have done it for me!!!

"Lodging Election Petition is a very expensive enterprise. Hence before it is done one must have the facts that would show that the number of votes that would be declared invalid would make the winner to be declared a loser. Unless one is in possession of such facts or evidence, filing election petition would be an exercise in futility."

How many votes were declared invalid??????????

Thanks
