i can see that most members of the L are difficult to convince to accept my
point.Firstly i hope this debate does not decend to a personal level
involving myself or mr coker.it's constantly pointed out to me that  mr
coker is not an american and i should not have implied he was,which i DID
not .nothing i said was directed towards him personally and agian i
apologise if i offended any one.

again no one in the list has pointed out anything factual to defend
afrocentrism,which is precisely my  point.it is based soley on
possibility.which is possible!of course everything is.suggesting a whole
list of books to read is not enough.as i could return the favour .however to
illustrate my point i'll look  at a few points posted by P.obrien-coker.take
the salute he said was done at the games.its possible that in 20yrs it would
be said the mr g.ford was the first to use it and not the athletes .this is
exactly what afrocentrism is about ,assumption.its a black american way of
trying to point everything to themselves.that same salute has been used
since the early 20s by the ANC/anti -aparthied movements in S.Africa and
probably earlier.is he denying them credit for that?if the athletes they
were jailed, they were representing america not black america as any white
medal winner who gave the "HAIL HITLER" salute would equally be
jailed.afrocentrism makes the same mistakes and short sightedness that
eurocentrism made in the last 200 yrs.

when the ruins of Great Zimbabwe were discovered by the german explorer the
first thing he did was to claim it was the ruins of the queen of sheba.this
was taken as fact for almost two hundred yrs.its this type of thinking that
is wrong its based on contempt for others and what they have achieved.the
ancient egyptians were not black( eg like my ollof cousins) nor
white(europeans).to add some humour they were probably closer to the
multi-coloured people called african-american.just the same its wrong for
gambians to lay claim to the ruins of zimbabwe as it shows contempt for the
people of the area.
with regard to the kind list of books,i would suggest members to read  the
countless german book written to promote aryan-ism in the 19th century which
so influenced hitler.and they were written by "sound minded" people
academics included.they were written to feed their EGO and support their
anti-semitic views.it was historic engineering which is exactly what  you're
defending.in this case everything is pro-black.

ofcourse,there is racism, how often to you hear that the allies fought the
war ignoring african and indian commonwealth soldiers.how often do u hear
that jews were the only victims of the NAZIs considering the thousands
killed in the german colony of what is today Namibia.things like that are
fact,which if they were afrocentric i would accept.i would equally accept
the blacks have been deliberately ignored in their contribution to america
eg the inventors etc
coming with such abstract statements like ancient egyptians were
black,socrates was black,jesus was black,the first jews were ethiopians etc
,and all this tends to shows a desperate people,blacks converted the english
to christiannity,the first Archbishop of Canterbury was black etc is just
crap and pseudo-intellectualism!
AND PLEASE DON'T REMIND OR CORRECT ME AS I'M NOT REFERRING TO ANY ONE IN
PARTICULAR!!!!!!!

SCHOLARLY LOGIC?  yes it lacks it.all these bizzare claims just take
everything WHITE(not necessarily european) and switch it around.it dosnt
come up with anything new or original but implies revenge or hatred of white
america for slavery!! if i was to publish a book saying caeser was black
would u believe it??
