Gambian Diaspora in United Kingdom along with Amnesty International UK will be taking part in an International Amnesty day of Action, standing up for an end to the rule of fear in the Gambia and particularly calling for an investigation into the disappearance of Journalist Ebrima Manneh in July 2006,Kanyiba Kanyi in september 2006, Momodou Lamin Nyassi, Buba Sanyang and Ndongo Mboob in April 2006, Haruna Jammeh and all those individuals who name appeared in the recent Amnesty International Report- Gambia: Fear rule.
We will be asking the Gambia Authorities Where are they?

In another development to the event an adhoc meeting for the event will be taking place this coming Saturday 11 July at Abdulai Jobe's House in Camden, North London, the nearest tube Kettish Town as part of the preparation and brain storming the way forward for the restoration of democracy in the Gambia.
