Just to be sure I am understood. The concern below is not my concern.

Theconcern of many here however is his acceptance of the cabinet position inthe first place after criticizing those who did before he himself acceptedthe position. In effect, his integrity is very questionable and the factthat he never tendered any resignation until he was fired leave much to bedesired.

This is because the above is not my purview and it would be presumptuous of me to work up a tizzy over it.

 Haruna.

Subject: Re: [G_L] Dr. Janneh.

Demba andothers have a point to some extend that Dr. Janneh came into the cabinetafter the media bill and although he dined and wined with the dictatorduring serious atrocities being committed against our people such asduring the brutal assassination of Deyda Hydara and the arson and brutalattack on the Independence, he is said to have played vital roles infighting the dictatorial rule such as extending the time frame for mediahouses to register under the harsh media laws and tabling the bill for therepealing of that same media laws which resulted in his sacking. Theconcern of many here however is his acceptance of the cabinet position inthe first place after criticizing those who did before he himself acceptedthe position. In effect, his integrity is very questionable and the factthat he never tendered any resignation until he was fired leave much to bedesired. Folks have a right to be critical. The tendencies to put everyonewho ever worked for the government in capacities that are not part of theexecutive, under the same criticism is howeverunfair.
