> Since my names has been causing some irritations in and out, allow me to kindly inform all and sundry that my names are written on my official documents as "PRINCE BUBACARR AMINATA SANKANU." Am Prince as my pre-Islamic roots to the ancient Ghana Empire put it. Since Islam bans, prohibits or restricts (whatever) research into one's pre-Islamic heritage, one has to be stubborn like me to dig deeper.
>
> Both my late Dad and my grand dad were not happy when I started digging into the ancestral archives up to the days when we the Sarahullehs were worshipping our pre-Isamic PYTHON GOD (WAGADOU BIDA). The were satisfied with the post Isamization side of the lineage and the fact that they took different social classes/function the along migratory routes between The Ancient Ghana Empire to The Gambia Basin.
>
> I find the status of pre-Isamic African Prince better than that of the Islamic slave of Allah or clerical-merchant!!
>
> Never tell a testosterone-loaded young man "this and that are forbidden." It will stimulate him to go for the forbidden fruit.
>
> Aynway that is another matter. I attached copy of my German ID card to confirm my name as "PRINCE BUBACARR AMINATA SANKANU" for your internal verification only. NOT FOR PUBLICATION. Sorry for The Gambia-L Bantaba members who cannot see the attachment. The most important thing there are members on the list who can verify it for the sake of posterity.
>
> I applied for a new one just to replace the picture on the current one. That picture was taken during my time in Campus as a stubborn student who had more time for books than what to wear. You know understand why am crazy.
>
> The new one should arrived in January 2012 and should need be I will present it again for verification.
>
> Of course no one is being begged, forced or compelled to call me Prince, HSH, Your Highness or whatever. I am not interested in ruling even over anyone's backward or dog house in the universe. My heritage and birth rights are enough.

> Thanks for taking note.
