*Expulsão do delegado da RTP anulada*

Repórteres sem Fronteiras tomou conhecimento com satisfação da decisão das
autoridades de Bissau de voltarem atrás com a expulsão do chefe da
delegação da *Rádio Televisão Portuguesa* (*RTP*), *Fernando Gomes*, e de
terem chegado a um acordo com a *RTP* de forma a garantir a segurança do
jornalista perante as numerosas ameaças proferidas contra este. A
organização espera que, para além do caso de Fernando Gomes, esta medida
assinalará o fim das pressões exercidas sobre a imprensa na Guiné-Bissau.

*La décision d'expulser le chef de la RTP finalement annulée*

Reporters sans frontières a appris avec satisfaction que les autorités de
Bissau sont revenues sur leur décision d'expulser le chef du bureau de
la *Radio-Télévision
Portugaise (RTP)*, *Fernando Gomes**,* et qu'elles se sont entendues avec
la *RTP* pour assurer la sécurité du journaliste face aux diverses menaces
proférées à son encontre par des militaires. L'organisation espère que,
au-delà du cas de Fernando Gomes, cette mesure marque la fin des pressions
exercées sur la presse en Guinée-Bissau.

*Government reverses decision to expel RTP bureau chief*

Reporters Without Borders is pleased to learn that the government has
reversed its decision to expel *Radio-Télévision Portugaise *bureau
chief *Fernando
Gomes* and has promised *RTP* to guarantee his safety in the face of all
the threats that have been made against him by soldiers.



The media freedom organization hopes that this decision will also mark the
end of the harassment to which all the media have been subjected in
Guinea-Bissau.
