Now this one will be interesting!

I am not sure, if the UDP/NRP alliance has any viable economic strategies. However, i suspect that we might have a good one and if we do, you can bet on this fact. The UDP/NRP alliance's strategy will offer a much better solution to the Gambia's ailing economy than the Soviet Gambians!

You know who i'm referring to right.

The five alphabeth party (PDOIS). All they have is lectures upon lectures of no useful subject.
"That's our three boys compin for you"!

> as at now, i don't have much information on both parties. i am hypothetically stating that both the UDP AND PDOIS have promising proposals but the real crux of the economic policies will fail due to unforeseen financial instability. i am also stating that ,the udp haven't conduct adequate study of the global financial climate that the Gambia is a part of. as for the pdois, they have a major problem. that being, they have the knowledge of the Gambia since they are the longest serving political party in the Gambia, but i am going over my previous statement that 'the party is missing its target of wooing Gambians voter'' The interesting and well-laid out economic proposals for the Gambia may not become a reality any time soon.
>
> as for udp, they need to document what strategies if any they have to rescue the Gambian economy if they win office. the global financial environment is such that ,third world economies will suffer severely due to the unstable U.S dollar and high cost of importing.
>
> the Gambia heavily rely on 'riba' or interest system of financial transaction. interest is the course of the volatile financial instability. the banks are the biggest property owners in the west. every household property that is mortgage is guarantee against a property .the banks don't easily loose, but even banks are loosing ie under going financial distress. what hopes can we salvage from the Gambian oppositions economically? my alternative proposals will be propounded after analysing the economic policies of the pdois and udp. can any one here help me with those information if they exist. theoretical proposal must necessarily be accompanied with real figures.
> finally ,both the pdois and udp need rethinking the impact of global financial environment, our economy is too small to afford mismanagement. what is the pdois economic policies? are they going to continue letting the Gambian banks operate an interest base financial system or do they wish to adopt or try other new and upcoming financial mechanisms? interest free economy such as the Malaysian and Qatar systems?
> The same questions goes for the udp.
> political will is a key instrument in any financial strategy working .the government must support new ideas to bring sustainable growth and progress. indebtedness is a problem that goes beyond party politics, it is a national disaster.
