Yero, yes indeed and a good reminder. The robot in Pa Samba of today is the same Pa Samba that mobilized and was active in the confrontation with the Embassy Staff and some infants called the NIA in the name of Free Halifa, OJ, and Hamat, NOW. Then he was Comrade. For these folks to go after Pa Samba and to belittle his effort and what he stood for is very sobering. Does Pa Samba not have the God given right exercise his thought and not seek blessing from anyone? Even if Pa Samba is no longer active in PDOIS (Which I do not know is the case), why would anyone expect him to swallow this level of disrespect?

I can see folks in some corner saying, but Joe, what is your business in this? Why don't you let Pa Samba and Duga handle their business? For one, DUGA's action is a national issue that we are all part of under the name of Gambia. Two, the very people that need and were expected to see value is what DUGA demonstrated decided to caricature it for their own political ends. Three, I do not have to wait for anyone to point out the wrong against Pa Samba and DUGA, just as you would not expect me to seek your permission to be the first to jump to save a drawning person. It is what the moment requires.

Needless to remind Halifa that when he was arrested with OJ and Hamat, Pa Samba, Ous Mbenga, Joe, Banka , Musa Jeng, Fatou Jaw Manneh, Sigga, myself and host of others stormed the Gambian embassy in Washington DC to demand for their immediate and unconditional release, together with numerous other efforts mounted by countless others who would choose to be anonymous over what they actually did. That was many years ago. History has repeated itself in another form today. How that differs from this one would beat anyone. It is for anyone to accept that this world of ours is not stagnant. As we go deep into our own , it becomes clearer by the day some of the problems facing us. We do have a whole terror administration at hand no doubt and they are clearly a problem #1. We do have the distractions. To get the light shinning on us, both of these needs to be tackled.

Best regards,

Yero.
