Solomon:

As MDRGNY stated earlier, a hall of fame for folks like Sheikh Fye, Biri
Biri, Malleh Wadda, and a host of other athletes who were once involved in
different sports, should do wonders for the future of sports in our country.
The upcoming stars of tomorrow and anyone interested in sports for that
matter will have a place where they can go and learn about the great athletes
of yesteryear. Because of this, I think setting up a sports hall of fame
back home is a no-brainer and paramount if we want to see a great many good
athletes come out of our country in the future.

This said, documentaries on folks like Biri, Sheik Fye and Co must be done
someday, but I think better now than later. I hope folks like Bora Mobge do
more to present such exposes and documentaries on our great athletes of the
past.

BTW, just out of curiosity, does any Gambian on this list study film?
