Indeed Dr. Jaiteh, I agree with you that General Lansana Conte' should
resign. He has long outlived his value for La Guinea. He must however be
encouraged to usher in an era of Multi-party politics. La Guinea is looking forward to
such an election soon and we must encourage General Conte' to stay that
course at least until he resigns. He is also best advised to recuse himself from
the upcoming elections. La Guinea however has more enormous challenges than
the General Lansana Conte'.
In essence Dr. Jaiteh, I agree whole-heartedly with you. My contentment is
for the people of La Guinea and her rich history. Thanx.

Isn't this the fellow who nearly pushed Guinea to the brink of civil war
only a couple of years ago? For over 20 yrs this military-turn civilian
