Cherno: your uncle Matt have an updated list. Lol. Humor aside, I am glad Momodou Sabally and all these Doctors did drag you to Jamneh's camp. Best regards, Yero.

Mawdo yero,
We need a tally of all ministers by minsitry since July 22nd 1994. That will be an interesting project and statistic to look at, especially with rehires and transfers.

Well said Demba & Omar.

Funny how some of these folks cannot draw simple lessons.

Just look around and realize that most of those doing it claim to be educated and with experience. I take exception to the type of education and experience. Education and experience are suppose to help people think and analyze well. In most of today's Gambia, it is a propeller for false status, a way to prey on the poor and the oppressed, intellectual dishonesty, selfishness and greed, and moreover marred with pretense, especially as such despots attach themselves to Jammeh's criminal administration in the name of changing the game, thereby being victims and aggressors at the same time.

On this Senghore, he is from the same place as the other useless Dr. Loud Mouth, aka Njogu Bah. Their place is a very small village in Nuimi. Jammeh's ways of political hypocrisy doesn't have bounds. He knows how to divide and rule.

Anyway, good luck to any that gives another person the power to define him or her, or better still, being recycled.

Thanks for the great analysis both....& best wishes, Yero.

Yero,
I can see how Dr. Senghore is trapped into accepting this position. Basically he would have two choices and may be a third one that many people will not be willing to take... First accept Jammeh's position and go down in humiliation if he is lucky. Second, refuse Jammeh's appointment and lose all your positions at the University, MDI etc. And of course the third choice which I would opt for if I were him is to straight up decline the role and live with the consequences of losing his current positions and live with my dignity and integrity intact.

Take note, someone confided with me that Dr. Senghore's appointment may be a plot to finally get Mr. Khan President of the university... how this two are link is Jammeh's reasoning and he will find a niche to explore there... time will be the judge..

Thanks for sharing and see more analysis of the appointment at http://gainako.com/?p=2417.. Gambia?????

Yero,
You got it all right. Greed as a vice has been around for a long time and we will continue to deal with it, may be forever!
The aspect of the resume that connects Dr. Senghore with The UTG says it all. That place is a breeding ground for potential appointees to various sectors and levels of the dictatorship. You will be amazed to find the extend to which some of them lobby for the regime while claiming political neutrality. I came face to face with some of them here in Halifax while they were trying very hard to destroy my relationship with Saint Mary's University.

The bottom line is : This is a dictatorship and no personnel additions can change its character. Secondly, the regime is on a downward spiral which shall only stop when it hits the bottom, which means removal from power!

 Best of regards,
Omar Joof

"Born in 1968, he is also an associate lecturer at the Management Development Institute. Formerly, worked as a Legal and Research Officer and Head of the Legal and Research Department of the African Centre for Democracy and Human Rights Studies in Banjul, from August 1999 - December 2002" (The Point News paper, November 2013).

I guess what is on the resume don't matter. That a man is only as good as he applies himself in real life and that education or experience is for application. What is shameful is someone who claims to be educated and has worked for a human rights/democracy group still have dust layering his brain and eyes. What don't you see fellow Gambians??

As soon as Jammeh plugs some head out like a cattle tick, another one is ready to pin and such blood for in as much as time can buy. In his head, he is probably celebrating and saying, "Give me a chance. I will make the difference. I will use my experience to change the status quo. et cetera..."

Look, it doesn't work like that in jammeh's land. Jammeh will use all of you fools and idiots, recycle you for as long as he wants and if you lucky, you will get thrown in mile two, and that is only if you are lucky.

What a shameful commedy!

Best regards,

Yero
