I once asked - are humans by nature dictators? I don't know but we're
conquerors - that fueled my suspicion.

A new question - do we (human being) want democracy or want to be part of
power? Some Good examples are the differences between what we advocate
before we assume power and/or booted out of power against when we're in
power.

Isn't that the case with PPP and A(F)PRC. A kettle and charcoal - which is
more black? Depends on the eye of the beholder. Today if old PPP fault APRC
for lack of democracy - I feel like plugging off my ears. What happened
when they were in power. This is not a justification of what APRC is doing
but to show how our position dictates our arguments.

The same is true in US too - candidate Obama is the all righteous.
President Obama a borderline dictator. The claim that the opposition is not
cooperative is flimsy at best. A typical structure of democratic governance
is deliberate conflict and there is reasons for it. Those
supposedly obstructing are equally elected by US citizens. Probably some
reason may tell you (Obama) the people don't want you do it as wish but
some middle ground. A good politicking within on your desire agenda is the
solution. Besides November voters will have another crack at it - they may
choose to vote out the obstructionists or keep them. I hope the will of the
people are respected and followed in accordance with the constitution.

The same can be said about me and many others in the struggle. Pick any
issue - say corruption, nepotism, etc on Jawara and Yahya. Depending on who
we make it bad for one and often present a rational justification or
minimize for the other. Equally Bush and Obama - say the implementation of
the PATRIOT ACT. Those crying foul under Bush are now justifying it.

Back to the original question - are we only for democracy when out of power
or want to be close to power. Most often those in power seem to hate
anything democracy.

Regards

Burama
