Thanx again Kabir for value-community. I am with Tendai Murisa in that I do not valuate public policy solely on yield and profit particularly when it comes to crops - food or tobacco. The intangibles of justice and social equity can be measured by demographic syntheses. Zimbabwe's land reform is based on good public policy and all concerned are Zimbabweans. It is when you have undue and corrupting influence by outsiders that seams begin to develop among citizens of diverse color and ethnicity.

I encourage Zimbabwe to continue to tweak the program and dispense with onerous nepotism and favoritism so that more Zimbabweans can afford cultivable land. It doesn't matter what they cultivate on the land. I encourage the white Zimbabwean farmers to be considerate of their fellow citizens who had been dispossessed of arable land during colonization and together, they can re-ignite the engine of Zimbabwe's success. The small scale farmers should be encouraged to form cooperatives comprising their good number to develop the farming cultures, eliminate the use of synthetic fertilizers, and to properly market their yield to desiring consumers. I would focus more on the medicinal value of tobacco and increase investment into further medical research with expanded protocol.

Haruna.
