I start with this general acknowledgement to burst or brake open our spirit of understanding and acceptance by my truly Joel; He said:-  There is no such thing in our day and age, of all living -in what we would call the harmony of sitting on cloud nine -and pretending that there are not differences of opinion and sometimes differences of interests, and that there may not be differences and conflicts arise in our relationships. But this is healthy, if it is understood that there is a basic integrity between us. I mean by that, if you understand or if you have had an inner conviction of the integrity of your teacher, then regardless of what may develop in the way of misunderstanding or difference of opinion or policy, as long as that conviction of integrity remains, any problem that may arise can be worked out lovingly, beautifully, satisfactorily, for everybody concerned. 
            
In the same way, as students, if you come to believe in the spiritual integrity, that is, in the deep desire for God in the heart and soul of every member of these classes, then regardless of what discussions may come up or opinions, or problems if you will – and they do sometimes -every one of these can be worked out without quarrels, without learning to hate each other or fight with each other. Regardless of how violently you may disagree as to principle or policy, there still will be a satisfactory and loving working out, if there is a respect for each other's integrity. 
            
There is where all trouble arises when one has one opinion and the other another, if there is no respect for each other's integrity. Then there can be these things that almost break up families. But that cannot be -there can be no differences so great that cannot be amicably, lovingly, spiritually solved between students, as long as the students agree that each one is working from their highest sense of spiritual right and for the common good. 
 
It is only when personal sense comes in, personal ambition, that discords come up that cannot be satisfactorily solved. But as long as there is this respect for each other's integrity and the understanding that we are all working together but for one purpose – that purpose isn't the glory of man but of God -then you will find that everything can be solved, and solved in love. Now, there is a point of scripture, which can help us in our relationship with each other, and if we solve the secret of harmonious relationships with each other, remember this, we will have solved our relationships out in the world, because the same principle will apply. 
           
 In the Garden of Eden there was an apple and the apple caused all the trouble. And they say its been causing all the trouble ever since. And what is that apple? It is the belief of good and evil -that's all it is. It is the belief of good and evil – two powers. And as long as we are eating that particular apple, as long as we are accepting belief in good and evil, we are in the world and battling it from the standpoint of the Adam man. But let us resist the temptation to eat that apple. And let us agree that we want no part of good and evil – that we are satisfied with the basic principle of one, the basic principle of one -one spiritual presence, one spiritual power, one spiritual law, one spiritual life. And then you will find the mystery not only of relationships solved, but you will find the mystery of health and supply solved.             
 
All of our discords come from that apple. All of our discords come from the belief in good and evil. Now, this is the most difficult principle in all spiritual teaching. This is the one that has tripped every single teaching of a spiritual nature that has ever been given to the world. Because the original revelator caught the vision of one, and within a generation or two, his disciples lost it. In some cases it was lost right while the master was present -as in the case of Gautama Buddha. 
 
In case you don't know it, Gautama Buddha didn't start out on his mission for the purpose of learning how to heal disease or to demonstrate supply. Gautama Buddha learned with dismay that there were such things as sin, disease, death and poverty on earth – something that in his confined life in the palaces, he had never witnessed. But now he's face to face with beggars on the street. He's face to face with people with sores on their bodies. He's face to face with a funeral party. And he's shocked that these things can be. And when Gautama starts out on his mission, the purpose was to find out whether or not there was a principle that would remove sin, disease and death from this earth. Not whether or not you could heal a few people who wanted to be healed or a few people who wanted prayers, but whether or not -in spite of people -that you could wipe sin, disease and death off the earth.
 
And under the Bodhi tree the principle was revealed to him that would wipe sin, disease and death right off the face of the earth – whether or not you wanted it or not, whether you wanted to cling to your sins, whether you wanted to cling to your ills, had nothing to do with it. He discovered the principle that even man couldn't resist. It would absolutely wipe all human error from the face of the globe.
And what was this principle that was revealed to him? The principle was this: in his realization of God he saw that all these things called sin, disease and death had no existence – they were illusion. And that was the principle that would wipe them off the earth because they didn't exist to be healed. There was no Mrs Jones, Brown and Smith to be healed, because sin disease and death had no existence. And in the realization of God all the appearances of such disappeared off the earth. 
 
And what do you think happened? As soon as he began to mingle among men and women, they came in contact with him and they were healed. Why? Because in his conscious oneness with God, in his conscious union, in this realized God, realized Christ -all erroneous conditions disappeared naturally. But long, long before he was ready to leave this earth, his disciples were out trying to heal the sick, trying to demonstrate supply. And he knew the principle was lost, and he willingly left the earth. 
 
Now, Jesus Christ had this same revelation. Jesus Christ was able to say to the crippled and the impotent "What did hinder you? Rise, pick up your bed and walk!" In other words there is no such power as anything holding you. And to the sinners he could say, "Uh uh! Who called you a sinner? Who is there throwing stones at you? Neither do I condemn thee – go and sin no more!" Who, who, who did commit sin? This boy who was born blind or his parents who undoubtedly had syphilis? Who? And his answer was, " neither one sinned."
 
The Master, Christ Jesus, perceived as clearly as did Buddha, that in this God-consciousness all that appears as earthly discord evaporates because of its nothingness. It doesn't exist as a person; it doesn't exist as a condition. It exists as an illusory state of thought. But the moment that it comes in contact with one spiritual consciousness, that is one individual who realizes the illusory nature of the world's evils -in that presence these discords disappear. We call them healings but they aren't – they're just a disappearance of illusory pictures held in thought. 
 
There is reason to believe that his disciples and their descendants and students were able to do good healing work for three hundred years on this very principle, on this very basis. You remember Peter's experience Call nothing unclean that God hath made! That's the same principle. Call nothing "sin." Call nothing "disease." Call nothing "error." In the allness of God there is no such thing as error. Where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. So all you have to do is have the spirit of the Lord present as Gautama Buddha did under the Bodhi tree or as the Master, Christ Jesus did. And you have liberty -you have freedom from sin, disease, death, lack and limitation. 
 
You can't do it without the spirit of the Lord being present. You're just a human being living under Adam's apple – the good and the evil. But there is no good and evil where the spirit of the Lord is. Where the spirit of the Lord is there is only the spirit of God. And in that spirit of God there is nothing that defileth or maketh a lie, but nothing -nothing that defileth or maketh a lie! In the consciousness of purity there is no sin. In the consciousness of harmony there is no discord. But there must be the consciousness of the presence of God. There must be the spirit of the Lord in order for there to be liberty.
 
Therefore, The Infinite Way has said and revealed that there is sin, disease, death and discord in the sense of separation from God. And it states that that is the only reason there is on earth for sin, disease, death, lack, limitation or any form of discord – just a sense of separation from God. And how do we know that this is true? Because the moment we sit down into meditation and get the realization of the presence of God, we get a telephone call saying, "the patient's healed!" Isn't that right? Sure it's right! That's the only way we ever, that's the only way we ever get a telephone call saying "I feel better" – is where the spirit of the Lord is realized.
