Haruna,

There is a serious crisis to be resolved.

A State of Emergency has already been declared in La Guinea and as of yesterday, 12 people have been confirmed killed from confrontations on the streets.

The current problems in La Guinea has its genesis in the exclusive dictatorships of the  past 50 years. Neither the peuls nor other ethnic groups are obstacles to democracy in La Guinea. Tyanny has been.

Guineans live in Senegal than in any other foreign country. Wade's concern should be seen in that context.

Finally Cellou Dallen would concede defeat only when as expected the Supreme Court confirms the Real Prof Alpha Conde as the President-elect.

First of all, there is no crisis at this time in La-Guinea. They are attempting to resolve the crisis of transitional governance and they have done that by the just concluded elections.

Second, Hon. Dalein has already publicly appealed to his partisans for calm.

Third, Hon. President Alpha Conde' has extended a hand to Hon. Dalein for common effort toward the common good.

What should happen now is that they should both wait, in calm and sobriety, for the supreme court to ventilate their claims and counterclaims and announce/publish the final results of the election.

The La-Guinea Fossepel, Gendarmerie, and Army will maintain peace and security on the streets of La-Guinea. If they need assistance, they have the lattitude to request such assistance from La-Guinea's neighbors and development partners, ECOWAS, AU, and or the UN.

Fullstop. end of story. There is no need to manufacture unmanageable crisis from this. It will be advisable for Hon. Dalein to call on President-elect COnde' and congratulate him pending the certification or otherwise of the La-Guinea supreme court.

Haruna.

Abdoulaye Wade "a demandé à

(MUA)
