Pa Karamo,

It is absolutely evident that Mr. Njie knows why his membership to the L was
canceled. So I do not see any reason for any preconditions for his
reinstatement. Condemning use of profanity or personal attacks should be seen
by everyone, including Mr. Njie, as a moral obligation, being on the L or
else where. However, we cannot abandon people for the mistakes they committed
or for differing in opinions with them. Instead, it should be our moral and
civic responsibilities to help them out in any way possible in order to
enhance better communication. If you read Mr. Njie's postings, you should be
able to realize that this young man has potentials. He has a whole lot to
offer us. Thus, in the true spirit of democracy, healing and reconciliation,
I see no reason why he should be completely left out. As Saloum said in his
posting, everyone deserves a second chance. His behavior did not warrant a
complete expulsion from the L. This is very unfortunate. I hope we will find
a solution to this amiably and admirably.

Seedy Saidykhan.
