I spent all morning looking over yesterday’s Oct. 15 FEC reports. Here’s a recap: Tea Party candidates are raising money like crazy. Christine O’Donnell brought in almost $4M, and Sharron Angle’s also got that much to spend these final two weeks. That’s a lot of cash to attack our candidates, potentially win on Nov. 2 and begin their assault on President Obama, health care reform, Wall Street regulations and whatever else doesn’t fit in their conservative utopia.

BUT … thanks to you, the DSCC posted its biggest fundraising quarter ever! Gifts go to work immediately to fight these Tea Partiers. We’ve gone on the air in 9 states; we’re now ahead in 7. According to my math, we need $242,582 by tomorrow night to hold these gains and move a few more deadlocked races our way. Time’s nearly up. The election’s in 17 days, folks.
