> "Citing the skyrocketing of prices of basic commodities, which he attributed to the lack of faith, President Jammeh noted that 98% of the business community in the country called themselves Muslims.
> “We can fool each other here, put on big gowns to show that we are Muslims, but that can only be here. We can never fool God because come Day of Judgment, no president, imam or minister will judge you, but God will be the one to judge you,” he told the country’s Muslim elders".
Yaya must be talking about himself here. Businessman yaya is the one that sells meat, bread, rice, tomatoes, onions, sugar, cooking oil etc. Why are these things cheaper in Kanilai? If yaya is a Muslim why is he picking and choosing who to give rice and who not to give? Why is yaya using the Gambian people to cultivate crops for him just to turn around and sell it back to them?
Yaya must understand that the same Allah will judge him for stealing the wealth of the country. How did he become so rich this quick? He is the one using Allah's name when he steals saying he got the money from Allah's bank just to find out that it was drug money.
On the day of judgement, yaya will pay for all the killings that happened under his watch, the ones he directed, watched and never stopped or investigated. Who is he fooling? Yaya is human like us and he must understand that our parents know the Quran better than him, folks have been doing good before him and many came and went before him. He too shall go soon you just watch.
Seventeen years of torture, disappearance, and killing of Gambian people will not go unpunished. His mentor is on the run today and he does not even have the decency to stand by him.
All of a sudden no one knows better than yaya, no can can do better than yaya, no one loves the Gambia better than yaya, yaya is the only Gambian that has a bank account in Allah's bank. If yaya is a fair and honest Muslim, he should not hold Gambians hostage promising development, a trip to Mecca, food and jobs to those who vote for him.
Enough of yaya and his big gowns.
