A Slap on Unity’s FaceBy Yero JallowThe old man stood there lonely and helplessSupported by his walking stickAnd his prayer beads he had for agesHe looked to the skies in utter disgustHis heart sounded and gave up over his legacyAs his only sons slapped unity hard on her faceAnd you could see the swells and marks on her faceShe was hurt, wounded and humiliated. 

As unity lay down in a state of comaThe old man cried continually, helplessHe prayed with hope in sereneHoping for a peaceful resting the hereafterHe finally collapsed and fell to his kneesHis Physical body lay bare on heated earth pebblesHis nose oozing blood, his soul rose to the heavensWhile unity lay dead in a pool of blood.
