AbdouKarim,
I would hate to read between the lines seeing things that might not be there. However, will I be correct to say that the fact that some of the land taken by the government to do some of the constructions 'belongs' to the Sanneh kundas and Mannehs have anything to do with your attitude towards the Jammeh regime?
What is wrong with changing friends from the anti-western as you may want to call it to the kinds of Iran and Venuzuela? I am certain you are in the UK today, but can you verify that you are the same Abdoukarim Sanneh who used to be pro-communist in the Gambia and today being so 'pro-western'?
The fact that this government had guests that might be 'anti-western' is all about national interests and we as Africans and especially as Gambians, sooner or later may need to wake up to the reality of world politics.
My last question to you is, what evidence do you have or exists to say that President Jammeh is involved in the shipment that was caught in Mauritania some years ago?

  Thanks,
  Alieu

Looking into catalogue of crimes ranging from extra judiciary execution, murder, dententions with trials, human rights violation, corruption and many other economic crimes, the year 1994 to 2006 is the roaring decades in our nation's history, which we are all paying the price for, as the grrdiest decade and the seed for the destruction of our small nation state. Let us be alert now because Yaya Jammeh has sowed the seed for the destruction of our nation. It is about time to redeem our people before we began to see destructive images of nation on television.

It is a fact that a soldier without political education is virtually a criminal. The Gambian people are now aware that the famous slogan of the regime such as transparency, accountability and probity has vanished into Gambian clouds and does not mean nothing order than fallacy. A poor soldier who was having less than two thousand dalasis in his account before taking power in July 1994 is todat richer than the state he is ruling. Yaya Jammeh has looted our national coffers and is still poaching our institutions to enrich himself.

Yaya Jammeh have been involved in the criminalisation of our state using national institutions to foster his criminality among which are Department of Agriculture, Customs, Central Bank, External Affairs etc. Gambian can recall the relationship between Yaya Jammeh and so-called Malian millionaire Babading Futaka Sussoho. In the early days of the coup, the alliance with the Malian millionaire was exposed when a container of drugs heading from Gambia was impounded in the Coast of Mauritania by Interpol. The consignment was nothing order than drugs and the shipping details was that it belongs to Gambian Ministry of Agriculture. The same Babading Futaka Sussoho was given Gambian diplomatic passport. Yaya Jammeh ditched him when he was wanted in United Arab Emirates for economic crimes. To date the new regime in Mauritania has yet to shed light on that, hence Jammeh's olive branch while offering sanctuary to the latter in the Gambia. Thus a marriage of convenience!

Apart from the drug trade, the regime was involved in economic crimes such as money laundering using officials of the Central Bank of The Gambia. He was making illusion and fantasy about Allah's World Bank but senior officials in the Central Bank will one ady given evidence about his dirty work using that institution counterfeiting United States dollar currency which were siphoned into Gambian dalasis. Later the Central Bank of the Gambia takes the responsibility to burn such false currency after the convertinf the amount into Gambian money for Yaya Jammeh.

Yaya Jammeh has used Gambia's non permanent position in United Nations Security Council to pursue his cheque book diplomacy just to foster his greedy and selfish interest. Among the projects that he embarked on that historical opportunity for our country was establishment of diplomatic relationship with Libya and Taiwan. For those two years, the position of Gambia in the security council meetings was focus mainly on the lifting of sanction on Libya and recognition of Taiwan as Independent state. For Taiwan, it led to the disbursement of Gambia's missing millions which ended in private bank accounts and also a court case between Yaya Jammeh and fugitive former spokesman Ebou Jallow. For Libya, it led to a strong unholy alliance with the former majority leader of Parliament Baba Jobe, the blood diamond, arm trade, and other mercenary activities in our sub-region and beyond. To date the marriage of convenience is over. Gadafi having learnt his lesson from Saddam Hussein had
given up his anti-western stance. Hence, his stay in protest at the recent African Union Summit in the Gambia. Jammeh has now been left in the cold and Baba Jobe facing 12 year's incarceration and the possibility of facing a United Nations war crimes tribunal.

Many Gambians are aware of Yaya Jammeh's relationship with Charles Taylor and the United Nation's report on the blood diamond and Gambia's position to clean the act of Baba Jobe as a party to the crime. Baba Jobe was been used in undercover operations of Yaya Jammeh ranging from bllod diamond, money laundering, drug trafficking, millennium Airline, arms trade etc and later been sacrificed when things fall apart.

Yaya Jammeh's greediness and corruption have been extended to land grabbing and estate development. The development of Sheraton Hotel in Brufut and Sannementary African Union village is a food for taught for every Gambian following the Taf Construction case with Sanneh and Manneh Kinda "KABILO" and massive internet debate it created among the Gambian community in Diaspora about the corporate interest of Yaya Jammeh and his intention of collaborating with Taf construction robbing the powerless and marginalise people of Brufut from their land, fostering their business. The crimes of Yaya Jammeh are numerous and it is history that will judge them for what happens. One wanders the new relationships that he has just recently manifested in the eye of the world at the recent African Union Summit with two states and leaders considered as axis of evil against western democracies. The accountability and transparency which he has started will continue.
