Hey Listen Moribolong.

First I wanna admit I'm in love with your writing and expressive style. I love you men. Just don't get any funny ideas.

Now then,
OK. We gotta get one thing straight. The Clintons are not ordinary folk. She is extraordinary and plenipotentiary. She challenged Obama all the way to the natural end and I am humbled that she took our advice to yield magnanimously at the convention. I have my convention DVD and other goodies as Evian is wont to quip, to show for it. She garnered more votes than Richardson and all the other runners-up combined. That means something. She brings with her an equal if not more Hispanic goodwill than OBAMA. Her selection ought not prevent OBAMA from considering Hispanics, Asian Americans, and African Americans.

You need to settle down a bit. If I didn't know better I'd say you're on Hashish. Take it easy. There's tons of cabinet positions left. Besides for minorities, it is more valuable to be in the technical and actual policy direction than titular office. I don't want you to interpret this wrongly. Would you rather be the Secretary of State or a specialist on African affairs or Latin American affairs? Do you know how many webs need to be disentangled before you can appreciate Obama's value????? That's what I say about you Obamalot.

I just hope you're feverishly working toward my inauguration tickets. And I will have a guest from the UK. So I need two. I will take my two-bedroom, 2-bath mobile home trailer with me to avoid being taken by idiot landlords in Manassas and Silver Spring. I am dead serious. Just advertise this on your frigging website:

Desperate Director of The Global Democracy Project
goes on hunger strike until he gets two or three Obama
Inauguration tickets. Promises to assist SOS Clinton in
yielding lasting Peace between Turkey and Kurdistan,
in the Darfoori stalemate, and a Contiguous Palestine
sisde by side with a secure Israel; All at his own expense
as his contribution to America's diplomatic fortunes.

Haruna.

Haruna,

Lieberman is a douchebag.....end of story.

Withregards to the Clintons...where do I begin? Do you see the drama unfolding live on TV? It is always about the Clintons. There are rumblings that Hispanics, who greatly supported Obama, are getting restless as cabinet post after post gets named and no Hispanics are included yet. Bill Richardson is eminently qualified to be Secretary of State and yet the President-elect has enmeshed himself in Clinton drama. Bill and Hillary would top the polls in being voted most likely to screw up a wet dream. But Obama and his people should have seen this coming. I can't help but wonder if Barack has become too obsessed with the whole "Team of Rivals" thing. I think Barack Obama has Lincoln-esque potential; but it is one thing to learn from historical precedent and even to emulate it, it is quite another to try to copy it.

Coach and Moribolong, I know you were among the vocal opposition to Lieberman just like myself. However, I've had time to reflect on my disdain for the idiot. I also considered the democrats voting today to keep him as head of the Homeland Security Committee but that decision by senate democrats did not affect my disdain nor my benign indifference now. I have reviewed Lieberman's history in the senate and prior and I don't find him to be a particularly bright person. All that said, I want the douchebag to know I'll be on his arse like corn on feet to keep him in check. 1. Lieberman had an opportunity to support Huckaby (my republican), Romney, Fred 'Sanford', Giuliani, Paul, or any of the democrats. He chose to go with McCain. That in itself told me a lot about his instincts. Deep down he is really not a republican. In the runup to the primaries, Lieberman was W's friend and W had convinced him that America will not let Obama win. And looking back on his own defeat when he was with AL Gore, he really believed the cat. And Lieberman could not afford being with a losing candidate at this juncture of America's life when to him, Israel's survival hung in the balance. He misread that too. That's why I don't think the guy is inherently bright. He equated the life of Israel to loss in Iraq and emboldening Ahmadinejad following through on his threat to wipe Israel from the map. I actually don't fault him for taking that kook seriously because Hitler was a Kook too. In his fear however, he was used by W as a pawn. But Lieberman cannot in his wildest dreams be accepted in the Republican Party. That's a whole nother story as Quicksilver is wont to quip. I don't have the time to delve into that. Suffice it to say that Lieberman's bluster to flee to the Republican Caucus if the democrats jettisoned him was just that, bluster. Schumer, Durbin, Levin, Kennedy, Obama, and McCain all knew that. But Lieberman himself cannot afford to show that it was just bluster. He was dead at that point. 2. The forgiveness and magnanimity Obama showed should be complemented by Obamalot like my two good friends Coach and Moribolong. Obamalot, I'm writing a book with that title so I don't want anyone stealing it just yet. I'd better register that title just to be sure. Anyway, Moribolong, I know you can be a pain in the neck when you dislike someone (CLintons) but hear me out. The pardon of Lieberman is likely to help the senate race in Georgia between Jim Martin and Saxby Chambliss. At least it relieves Lieberman of the need to campaign for Chambliss, a W stalwart, in a state with a significant Jewish vote. In that run-off, what will matter is base turnout because you can forget clueless African Americans voting. By the way, early voting has begun today in Georgia. So all you African Americans who want to challenge my contention, here's your chance to prove me wrong. We already think Begich is gonna defeat the felon stevens and Frankin's chances look good with the courts deciding that provisional ballots ought to be counted. Now this reason for electoral fortunes is not terribly significant to me because I think Filibuster is much too hyped and the democrats do not need 60 votes at any cost. There wont be any stupid filibuster. There will be properly-considered filibusters though and they will be hashed out on their own merits. The democrats must understand that the imminence of a filibuster in itself affords them an opportunity at sobriety and it is good for them. Besides, if they need an idiot like Lieberman to avoid filibuster, then their global faculties must be called to question. 3. Lieberman will come to realize now that Obama cares as much about Israel as he does, probably more so. He will witness American victory in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Northwest Frontier province, and America's expeditious withdrawal from those pristine foreign lands. And Lieberman will have Barack to thank for that. Lieberman will also be forced to meet Ahmadinejad and travel to a free Darfour and he will witness calm in the seas. We may even have a Somali nation before we're done. And yes, Hillary is a good choice for SOState and I think she ought not be vetted and the democratic national committee should help pay off her campaign debts. Anyway one thing at a time; Lieberman will be made bright again and Israel will be the better for it. I want to personall promise a contiguous Palestine living side-by-side with a secure Israel during Obama's 1st term. I will personally help in that endeavour, and at my own cost. 4. The alternative is CAN Lieberman from the Chairmanship and caucus. That will satisfy our disdain but the satisfaction will have been vainglorious. Lieberman practically laid down his life for McCain and as an old boy scout, McCain will not abandon him when he knows that neither he nor Lieberman will really be happy in the Republican party. Lindsey Graham can go to hell. What I mean is that Obama's overtures to McCain will have rung hollow without a commensurate conciliation toward Lieberman. And because we know Lieberman is not particularly bright, his knowledge so far gained from his association with W will prove vital in the overhaul of Homeland Security. I want you to quit worrying about Lieberman sabotaging Obama's efforts. Obama is a genuine American and should he contemplate that, Lieberman will tap the final nail in his decrepit coffin. 5. No that'll do for now. I don't want to inadvertently play the entire hand. Thank you for listening and I hope I have help allay your fears Coach and Moribolong. I am confident if you add these to what you already know, it will become easier for you to forgive the idiot. Haruna.
