Prince
Really, I wonder what mess you are talking about. I don't see any mess
neither will I be in any way or form see a reaction to the head of a media
organisation heading a group whose membership is secretive or if any be seen
as messy. The question is, who is in jail today? Dr Janneh or Ndey? Mr
Sankanu or Mathew? Therefore, if people are operating in a dangerous
environment, they need to thread the lines carefully.
It is not enough to say, we are brave and we want this and that. People have
to be able be safe before exposing few individuals to dangers like that of
Dr Janneh and few innocent citizens. Ndey can belong to any covert or overt
group, however, if she is also the head of a media fraternity, we the
independent observers should ask, will that in any way or form affect her
media role? She can simply extract the relevant pages of the GPU charter
which allows her to double in civil society organisations. To me the GPU is
part of a civil society body. However, not a lot is known about the group,
therefore, if Ndey took her time and explain her position, no one will ask.
She didn't do that. Yet the handsome Prince wish us to ignore that. I for
one will not.
If you wish to split hair or corn over it, good luck.
I am the least bothered about who sees a mess in asking a question. Mess,
let it be.
