 A very remarkable and victorious week it was 
 The great spirit of Sankandi has finally returned
 Heralding the imminence of the final destruction 
 More debilitating & foreboding impact
 You who holds a nation hostage
 Hunted and caged at muzungu's Palace
 Disoriented, discredited, decimated
 Dishing out the inevitable agony of a dying beast 
 ...
 The true descendants of the Soil 
 Great sons and daughters of our Land 
 To you we pay our homage 
 With melodious, royal kankurang, sewuruba barabasendeng 
 Amidst harmonious claps of pure Gambian damsels 
 Singing your praises with heavenly sonorous voices 
 I bring you the eternal appreciations of all your clansmen and women
 Hold your heads high, for proud you made us all
 
 Long Live the Republic of The Gambia!!!
