Mickelson just celebrated his birthday and New York is friendly territory to him.

Add to that the outpouring of sympathy from all and sundry after we learned that Phil's wife Amy is burdened with breast cancer and is scheduled to undergo surgery in a couple of weeks. I wish Amy all the best and my prayers to God/Allah for a benign cancer. And like Libby Edwards, I pray that the cancerous cells will find other food besides her own life-sustaining cells. It is not beyond God/Allah to train cancer cells toward other pathogens and viruses that may be equally debilitating. I always reserve that opportunity for cancer patients.

Tiger was only able to play 6 holes for a score of +1 (one over par). Phil did not even tee off because play was suspended before his Tee-time. Play resumes at 7:00 Am tomorrow and ESPN coverage begins at 8:00 Am. So call in sick to work TODAY, for TOmorrow.
Haruna.
