I agree Emman, my Nephew Sankanu argued some brilliant points, but he could have done better by avoiding the general provocations. Men are quiet becus, as he argued, we don't want to be victimise by our sisters.
The vast majority of men are women lovers, we have daughters, sisters, mothers, annties etc. This is not to say some men behave out of order sometimes.
The sisters did good with their arguements, Fatou was the one with a bit stiff position, again that is her right. I thought Jabou and Aisha with AMNA position themsleves wonderfully by being realistic. I think Sankanu if we take his general contradictions, made a good point by saying that "all men are prosmiquious by nature". This is true to many men. Although unlike what Sankanu argued, religion make us have more self-restraint and a watchful behaviour.
There is nothing call absolute secularism neither absolute religion or spiritualism. There is secular aspects of all religions. But By castigating men of God due to the misbehaviour of some element is rather far fetch by Sankanu. It is like condemning democracy becus their exist tyrants within a democratic process.
For me, it is either my nephew was hyper high when he wrote that piece or his beautiful madam cooked him some very delicious meal. Overall, if we take his provocation and general statements, his article have some good things. We cannot judge matters by the faulty things, polygamy is here to stay, so long men and women exist.
