LJD, we are typing at the same time. Anyway, thanks....sincere advice from Haruna to Karim. When the flames are up there, it is easy for excitement like Haruna puts it, hence the lost of steering. Best, Yero

YJ

I love you too, and Suntou, and Haruna. Thanks for your understandable 'sympathies', but post-Professor Gambian public life will be an absolutely crazy era. Better to have some of my baptism by fire this side of change. Like you, I love the US and its domestic liberties, and although I am not an absolutist on free speech, I can handle all that is fair.

I take my solace from the fact that these distros are full of decent people, and I heavily rely on their sensible discernment and good judgement in separating fact from fiction.

I need no apologies, and there is nothing to forgive. Like they say, to each his own, and may the good God guide me on the measured route when dealing with other human beings. I'm still of the view bravado is

 not courage!

 Bro Haruna,

Thanks. You have to like 2pac.

on another note, good engaging of Karim from both you and Suntou. I wholly agree with Suntou's well thoughtout points, thus in Pular, we say, 'Koh nyameh dii achaneh koh yareh' meaning when you eat, you leave room for water as well. Despite agreements we may have, LJD is still that respectful elder who is always in sober mood no matter how tense the discussions are. I am pretty sure he have a bigger heart to forgive Karim, and I ask him to do just that.

I am yearning for spring.....and I hope you are, and enjoy!

Best always,

Yero
