Good to know you are reading. Ours here is citizens' engagement and reminders on what is at stake. Be rest assured our respect for your opinion always whether we agree or disagree. However the issue remains the nightmares of terror claerly perpetuated by this regime. That makes this regime criminal. It makes those that after knowing this much criminal. Further, those that seek to stand on the fence in the name of neutrality in times like these and making partial endorsements to people working with this regime pose red flags. If Nana is a friend to you like you noted which I personally don't doubt, your job would be to tell him the dangers involved with the new task. To me, that is what we are doing, citizens' engagement. It is absolutely worrying that Oko has no interest in that basic yardstick for public recognition and private remuneration.

Very right Mr Lamin Darbo, it is not right to condone such inhumane remarks. However, my concern was not what Oko said because that is his personal opinion even though the whole world will agree to your take on the conveyed narration portrayed by Oko. The point I am trying to make here
is the fact that, hence Oko is among us here in GL but did not convey the message to us himself, why should we bring it here for discussion? I think a single person's protestation shouldn't overshadow the lots' moreover in this democratic world. If Oko is to be treating for what he said or do, what is the use of fighting for democracy? Sometimes fighting so hard for ones right can make one blinded to the reality of one's struggle. So lets us take a breathe, forget about the distractions towards achieving our goal which is mutual as far as I am concern.

Too deep, very philosophical, but clearly, there is nothing mystical about Oko Drammeh's opinion that dictatorship and public lawlessness is not a big deal. In my book, that is quite an unacceptable position in light of the killings, the disappearances, the unlawful detentions, the illegal dismissals, and everything in between.
Considering Oko Drammeh's express position, deep thought is superfluous in deciphering his meaning. He is here and can easily clarify his own thoughts

was not as corrupt as his ministries yet I cannot attest that all the villagers are crazy but the village head. As he/she is the driver, therefore, there will have to be some corruption in obtaining his driving license. Reciprocally to the second republic as such, the concentration "if success will prevail" should focus on the big picture (THE DRIVER) not tearing down each other or the passengers. If the driving license is seized from the driver, the passengers will be motivated towards the common good. The rain water will only bother him when the driving license of (The Driver) is seized. What difference does it make; The Driver can take an undergraduate from a high school as a minister when the going gets tougher so lets us concentrate on the driver before he start selecting primary school graduates as ministers.
