Message for all Gambians in London and United Kingdom

Following demonstrations in London in July 2009 in relation to Human Rights Abuses in Gambia, it is vital that London takes a key and leading position in reacting to and proactively engaging this Brutal Yahya Jammeh regime.
 
To this effect, all interested Gambians are invited to a meeting on Sunday, 16th August 2009, at 2pm. The idea is to get structured Grouping and devise a rolling programme of Engaging and addressing issues of concern in Gambia. 
 
Basic theme of the meeting will focus on meeting Her Majesty's Foreign and Commonwealth Office about current Human Rights situation of Gambia and to demand  unconditional release of 6 journalists currently beingn jailed by the dictatorial regime of President Yahya AJJ Jammeh.
 
We have lots of partners in this exercise in Amnesty international, International Federation of Journalists, National Union of Journalists, The Trade union Congress and some media organisations around the globe. Come and join to echo the voice of suffering masses of Gambia engulfed in 15 years of brutal and inhumane dictatorial regime of Yahya Jammeh.
 
Please inform all interested parties to attend. Gambian welfare groups are invited to send representatives.
