Subject: Gambian children in Coventry visit BBC

Urgent notice. I have just attended a meeting today to finalise the attendance of Gambian children in a BBC Radio and TV program. Please detail below. Sorry for the short notice.

Thursday, May 28th 2009 at 11 am –  Children from disadvantage communities (BEM) will have  the opportunity to visit  the BBC Local Radio/Television Station in Coventry.

BBC COVENTRY & WARWICKSHIRE Local Radio/Television?

This should be a good opportunity to children to know & understand about the history of the BBC Local Radio/TV. This will help the children to raise their aspirations and to recognise the City’s most interesting place and look positively to the future.

BBC Radio/TV has almost a century of Existent.  According to the Wikipedia, the BBC Radio services began in 1922. Although no other broadcasting organisation was licensed in the UK until 1973.

our children will be among 18 other minority children from different countries. Details was finalised today at 4.30pm.

The Gambian Association Coventry will join in with other minority community at the BBC Radio and Television studio for a twenty minute slot to discuss issues affecting minority children.

I will be accompanying two children between the ages of 8 to 24. Please contact me if you want to child to attend. My usual mobile number of 07852491734. Thanks
