We are deeply shocked to hear - early morning 23 March - about the loss of
Boubacarr Etu Ndow.
A truly visionary artist, one of The Gambia's greatest sons!
He was unique in every sense, and he has inspired so many people worldwide.
The Gambia owes him forever for sowing the seeds of creativity and love for
beauty and the arts with countless children. Hopefully some of them will
become our next Etu Ndow.

We also mourn the loss of a very dear friend for nearly 30 years.

Our heartfelt condolences go to Ya Fatou and his lovely children, and all
of the Ndow family in Bakau and elsewhere.

Badou Jobe
