Folks ..May i join you to celebrate Sir. Dawda's Birthday and may the
Almighty give him many more years to come...He is a true African who did
not only for Gambians but Africa and the world...
A great statesman who promoted peace and respect and the world thanked him
for negociating peace between Iran and Iraq during their 8 years
war..Infact i remember many Gambians went abroad after that war without
visas for his leadership and image he has shown on Gambia and his people.
Am sure many Gambians among others are greatful to him though he made some
mistakes but he is still one of the CHAMPS on the continent...So he
deserves a big Kudos than to call him a dictator...Btw i share the same
month of birth with him and i wish him well..
Respect for the old man
Niamorkono...
