Well Demba, mercenary judges (including some Gambians) are having a field day at the expense of the innocent. These here, are the direct consequences of a carrot and stick judicial system where these so called judges (mercenaries) receive extra cash whenever they convict and imprison a perceived Jammeh enemy or get hammered (ala Buba Jawo) when they let the innocent go. "Setting examples" of Jammeh's liking becomes the game of the day. So, there you have it, judicial independence Gambian style. By the time they're done, Jammeh may need to have another five star hotel built, or worse many more will die in there until they get to me, you and someone else.

-Laye
