Dear Chris, You are killing me with laughter. You meant to tell me that my typos on 'fun' ended becoming piles of money (funds) for you. I am sitting here being sorry about my error and at the same time being humored by the way replied. Thank you on the gun perspective. It is nice hearing from you especially on the gun control issue. I don't like guns because they scare me. You will agree that a gun does things that we cannot reverse back. It is unfortunate that our American society because of freedom and right, we are trampling on the very danger we are running away. I am truly saddened by the loss of these adorable kids and like the President said that some families couldn't hug their kids on that night. I think that was very touching and couldn't be put any better. Good to hear about Greg and of course the kids. While you are pulling Haruna's legs (Darbs as you fondly called him), you got to love Haruna and because both him and I welcome different topics and can debate on them. We refused to be cornered around only the political stuff. (LOL). At times people are so busy. I would love to hear more on what others think as well especially on this gun issue. Chris, have another fun day!! If it turns out to be cash, I need my 15% commission and nothing less. Best always,Yero

Yero,

Since when do we care what Darbs thinks anyway? He's probably picking his nose somewhere as I type.

Please pass my hello and well wishes onto U, FJM and the rest and know that the missing part exists here too.

I can't talk much about what happened at Sandy Hook since I can't process such horrific violence taking place where beautiful little souls gather who are so bright, full of love and curious.....I can't also imagine having a gun in my home and somehow feeling safe because of it. I have a dog - that is the best and cheapest form of security and I know my little thirty pound tank would protect us as best as he could for as long as he could if someone broke into our home. Henry James Sukuna (affectionately called Greg at times) has our back at all times and is our perfect alert system that someone or something is in our yard.

I trust Greg's intelligence and instinct over some glock in a case and I prefer to think in these terms despite knowing a gun, when coupled with a human with ill intentions, is definitely no equal match. I pray for everyone's safety and well being and I am thankful that I can tickle each of my kids until they are about to pee their pants yet another day. I am not ticklish so I show no mercy and their laughter is like a drug. Hadam is my challenge on the tickle front because I have to tickle her long and hard to get her going. Sadiyah, I just have to touch her gently after a tickle session and she gets going on the mere thought of me doing it again to her. Hassan too breaks down despite his short lived manly attempt to keep a tight lip and not laugh but, he too is putty in the hands of the tickle queen. We are lucky Yero to have our kids, even when they drive us batty.

Much love to you and your family and I do hope my day is filled with funds. Perhaps Darbs will send me a surprise package filled with cash. All neatly stacked, crisp bills and all facing the same direction please. It's almost Christmas for Christ sakes. He needs to step on it.

Chris

Dear Chris,

Well put though! In as much I like to knock Jammeh's donkey head on the concrete, I must agree with your submission.

Yes, you know the winters....terrible!

Greetings from all over here especially Uhuru and we miss you.

Hugs to your little ones as well Chris and be blessed.

Hope the Connecticut issues is not too much to deal with it.

Chris, we need tougher gun control laws....and don't tell me it is for defense bro Haruna and you know I won't buy that from any one.

Have a fund day!!

Best regards,
Yero

Yero,

Having an elder brother who is a complete asshole is also unfortunate and one that can't be easily resolved in a court room unfortunately, unless, overdue detachment/separation and divorce from a crappy sibling is some posible ruling available?

The police definitely should have brought Mr. Helper in for the beating he served to his sister since I believe he further ignited heat between the parties with his ill handling of the situation. Prior to him entering, it was merely a verbal disagreement with some tinge of nastiness but, nothing physical. Whatever happened to just talking things through? Guess he only speaks fist-that hard to make out language we women should always refuse to have spoken to us.

Hope you and the family are dealing well with the change to the monochromatic scenery that is winter.

Later Yero,

Chris

Poverty and under development is very unfortunate. The court dockets are probably loaded with related cases. Assault under any condition is wrong. On a wider note, most of these petit crimes owe themselves to poverty and lacking amenities. If you have a person like Jammeh whose human rights records stinks and yet still you hear his supporters talking about white elephant projects, you will be damned if you believe any of such stories. Cash power, huh!!

Assault case heard

africa » gambia

Friday, December 14, 2012

The assault case involving Fatoumatta Fatajo and Haddijatou Sam was Wednesday heard at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Tabally.
Testifying, Isatou Dibba told the court that she lives at Touba Sanchaba and she is a housewife.
She added that she recoganised the accused persons, as they lived in the same compound.
Mrs. Dibba added that on 23 October 2012, she was at home when the accused persons were insulting her anyhow they liked.
Even after reporting the matter to her husband, the accused continued to insult her, she said, adding that the problem was about the cash-power units her husband would always buy.
The 1st accused told her she was an illegitimate daughter and that she would always put the cashpower on only when she was pleased, while the 2nd accused told her that she was un-brought up.
She said there was a day she called her husband to know his whereabouts and he told her he had closed late and also passed by NAWEC to buy some units of cash power.
She added that when her husband arrived, he found the 1st accused using abusive words on her because the cash-power did not come on time.
“My husband then went to the accused persons and met the 1st accused sitting with her mother still using abusive words,” she said.
The husband begged the 1st accused by telling her that it was not his wish to come late with the cash-power because he closed late from work and he passed through NAWEC where he found a queue.
She said the husband also told the 1st accused that if she insulted his wife, she was trespassing because she was not the one buying the cash power.
Mrs Dibba further told the court that she went and reported the 1st accused to her elder brother who came and beat her up.
She said she did not go to the 1st accused’s brother purposely to come and beat her but to stop what she was doing.
She revealed that the 1st accused then came and found her outside, and insulted her mother and lifted a bench, and threw it on her legs.
She added that the 2nd accused also came and gave her a blow on her face and pushed her against the glass door and caused it to break.
She said she went to her husband who accompanied her to the police station, where they met with the 2nd accused, who told the police that (she Dibba) was the one they were reporting.
They all narrated their own stories and the 2nd accused was accompanied by a police officer to go and get the 1st accused.
Their statements were recorded and she was later escorted by the police to Sukuta Health Centre where she was treated and later referred to Kanifing Health Centre where her eye was examined.
Hearing continues on 24 December 2012.
