Eid Get-Together In Coventry Today (26/09)
Hi all, Gambians in Coventry will holding an Eid Koriteh family and Friends Get together today from 7pm till late.
The venue is not our usual meeting hall. This time the numbers who have paid to attend is far more than expected. A biiger hall has been hired, contact Abdoulie Kamara, Bamba Mass or Fabakary Samateh for directions.
It is a short distant from our usual monthly meeting hall.
The address is:
90A Paynes Lane
Hillfields
CV1 5LJ
Bus 13 and 4 from Town Centre takes you there.

The Gambian Association Coventry hopes to organise this events in all festivals.
To depart from our strictly none politics discussions, we have taken the initiative to allow representatives of any political group to make a brief five minute speech on their party and how Gambians can play a part in such groups.
The Association those not belong to any single party nor promote the agenda of any individual political party, but people have the rights to know about the activities of pressure groups.
If anyone has a message you wish to share with Gambians in Coventry, please feel free to notify me as soon as possible. A time slot will be created whilst people are enjoying their meals.
If you cannot attend, but still wish to inform Gambians in Coventry about your political/pressure group, feel free to pass the message to me in time for the event tonight. All feedbacks will be pass to back to you.
This is only for major events; normal meetings will be as usual non-Political, non-religious.
Also, those groups that are promoting their religious group are allowed to seek permission in telling members about their activities. This is strictly five minute slot as well.
Email me for all such arrangements.
Coming to the main events, a variety of Senegambian meals have been prepared by our dedicate sisters who are doing it purely voluntary. We owe them a lot for the unity and brotherhood in the city. There will be no alcoholic beverages allowed inside the venue. Contact the lead organiser Fabakary Samateh for more information on 07918101653.
Thank you.
Suntou Touray (on behalf of Gambians in Coventry City U.K)
