Good advice to CNTG, Haruna.

Thanks.

Nice Yero. I applaud Karim for setting the record straight and because his name did appear on the CNTG list, if accurate, Karim does have a valid reason for disdain or for disassociating himself from the CNTG. It demonstrates a severe lack of discipline and sobriety on the part of whoever put the list together.

The onus is now on the CNTG to either share that Karim's name is not on the list of transition governors or to apologize to Karim for the trespass. Not only that, to apologize to any other person whose name appears on the list without their express written permission or allegiance to the CNTG.

I continue to support the CNTG's mission for now and encourage further due-diligence and sobriety going forward.

Haruna.

Thanks Karim for your clarification.

I am taking the liberty to share your piece at the L and at the GPU. I hope you don't mind.

Best,
Yero

I just returned from Hildesheim in Germany and have been not following online newspapers about Gambia and related matters so want to put to your readership points of clarification. I was told that by name appears in the list the list of person chosen by National Transition Council of Seedia Bayo as a Minister of Environment and Forestry. I have no knowledge about National Transition Council programmes or activities neither do I know Mr Seedia Bayo. For clarification I am not a party to any form of opportunistic political adventurism and putting in my name in the domain of newspaper press release without my knowledge and consultation is a clear testimony immature and irresponsible political manoeuvring for headlight grabbing with no substance. Gambia politics is nasty and dangerous. It is a fact that Yahya Jammeh is dangerous but also our people are also dangerous for years they continue to strengthen the hand of the devil. I have no interest in holding any future political position in a democratic Gambia. What I want to see is rule of law and good governance prevailing in our country so that a lot more of us can return back and use our innovation and talent for the development of our people in an atmosphere free from political interference from the executive arm of the government. I am not a member of National Transition Council and did not belief in political adventurism such as armed struggle or order undemocratic means of change. What I value is parliamentary democracy and order than that using any forceful means to change the regime of APRC will result to massive suffering such as continual human rights violations and destruction of infrastructure. I am not a party to other alternatives of change order than the ballot box.
Kind Regards!

Folks,
Like most of you, I commend the members of The Transitional Council, for atleast the effort towards making a formation, that is geared towards our most fundamental political need today: Eliminating dictator Jammeh from the political scene! However, I must hasten to add that it is not the end of our search for a viable formation that would serve as The Vanguard for a Progressive Revolution in The Gambia. What the new formation attest to is the urgency of the need for an umbrella organization of all the opposition groupings that see Yaha Jammeh's Government as a dictatorship; and are convinced that our road to basic good governance in The Gambia as it stands at the moment, is through a revolution. But that in itself would only be step one! The all important step two would be to convince the formal opposition on the ground to accept the agenda for a revolution, and allow itself to fuse into The Revolutionary Vanguard.
THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES!
