You obviously do not have enough to do with less than two weeks to elections. No, I will not provide you cover. Continue to get stuck on stupid. Chomps like you show up here clueless and made a fool of yourselves and Ousainou. Now that you found yourself in a jam you want to waste my time. Boy, focus on your victory! The wise among you are quiet and the fools are on the loose. Most here knew that your herd mentality was a recipe for disaster. Each election cycle a new group of fools descend on us only to fizzle after their embarassment. Yours will come soon. Bamba, don't you have a campaign to manage? I hope you do not loiter until two days to elections to wake up. Your fight is between you and the result you created. Bamba, it is campaign time if you do not recognize!

Ndeysaane, naatou! You all created a mess and when Gambians point it out, you come with a lame defense that they should go to the ground. This is what folks mean about your party's lack of leadership and direction. This is the nonsense that UDP and DPOIS supporters like to dangle which is nonsensical. Like I said, this will be the last time Gambians will engage you all in this nonsense. Bamba, worry about the embarrassment you will be subjected to the detriment of Gambians in two weeks to come. You are proving that you all are not leadership material and it shows. Where was your party the last five years? What where they doing between 2006 and 2011? You see what I mean by the lack of leadership and laziness.

Joe Joe,

You will not drag me into your normal crazy arguements not this time for Gambia as you rightly said need solutions.

which proposal was put before us? would you please with due respect stop the hypocracy. The only proposal brought before us was the convention and Agenda 2011 brought by Halifa and PDOIS. You knew Hamat came with none while Hendry proposed we all give way for your aspirants. Tell me another one?

You your own Hypocrete self said you agreed with Njie that such convention was rather too late what else?

Yes Gambians expect more from us and we knew that. But are you not Gambia enough to correct things by going home form your own party with your wonderful ideas? What is stopping you for we are bunches of idiots and cannot deliver for the next hundred years. What is stopping you? I think because of the likes of you who fear the tyrant are the ones making heros of other while creating villiants of others.

Why can't you go save your country? Don't you love the Gambia so well? Please stop the crap and do something for Gambia desperately needs a savior now now. I tell you I would have done exactly that if I feel the way you do.

Bamba, you just said a lot of niceties without saying anything. Where and when has UDP or the opposition done what you wrote below? What UNITED VOICE are you talking about? You asked what the UDP needed to do? They were expected to show leadership and look to the interest of Gambians, but instead you all focused on listening and hearing yourselves. Please do not be fooled with all this noise and confusion, the laziness of your party and leader contributed to the craziness we see unfolding. You play this stare down game and when the bullet leaves the barrel you begin to scurry for a compromise when is way too late. That is what your party has been doing the last 17 years. You can continue to do that the next hundred and you will get the same result. Every proposal forwarded to you all is met with manipulations. This convention fiasco came about because the opposition parties, like one Njie opined, are a master of opposing each other. This Hatfield - McCoy bloodletting between UDP and PDOIS is the reason why we are here today and for the ultimate parasite in Hamat Bah to feast. Bamba, I see that even at this hour, you all still do not get it. Folks are talking about the plight of Gambia and you are here talking about your party. Now that we have this mass accident within the opposition ranks, where are the militants and their leaders to create a solution? No, you all are good at creating problems but can offer no solutions. What you have below is wishing written on the fly to win an arguement and it is a waste of time and devoid of substance. How come Ousainou is not championing your below rhetoric if it is such a swell idea? He is on the ground with all of them, is he not? Anyway, this is the last time Gambians will deal with this nonsense from these parties and their leaders, so you all can continue what you started and you do not have a choice for you have less than 20 days to seal the mortgage of Gambian aspirations. That is what all and sundry warned you and your party and other parties about, but your fixation of admiring yourselves would not let you see. I said here before I am not interested in telling you all, "I told you so", because that does not fetch us zilch but another five years of abuse.

Brother Joe Joe,

I don't know what YOU have been talking about and we refused to see reason. What reason are you talking about I for one do not know BUT first let me try give you my plan B

I BELIEF DESPITE OUR DEFERENCES, WE ARE STILL OPPOSITION PARTIES AIMING TO UNSEAT A TYRANT INCUMBENT and I DO HOPE THAT THE COMMON ASPIRATION HAS MADE US PARTNERS THEREFORE MY PLAN B IS

WE AS OPPOSITION SHOULD STILL UNITE IN CONDEMNING WHAT EVER YAHYA JAMMEH AND HIS GANG DOES.

WE AS OPPOSITION SHOULD ALWAYS SPEAK WITH ONE VOICE WHEN EVER OUR RIGHTS ARE INFRINGED.

AND ABOVE ALL INCASE THE IEC WANT TO DECLARE YAHYA WINNER. ALL BOXES SHOULD REACH THEIR COUNTING CENTERS WITHOUT ANY INTERFERANCES OR ELSE WE UNITEDLY CALL FOR INVESTIGATION FROM INDEPENDANT BODY OR REJECT THE WHOLE VOTE NO MATTER WHICH GROUP IN THE OPPOSITION IS AFFECTED.

I belief that with a united voice, the coward tyrant cannot use us this time around despite he is happy we are not forwarding a united single candidate against him.

NOW Joe Joe what have you been warning that we have not collectively warned together?

Who is to blame? What do you expect us in the UDP to do? Join the United Alliance even when not invited?

Bamba, can you please tell us what plan B is, and by whom? This is the exact position that many have been warning the partisans and their leaders and you all flatly refused to see reason. We are not here because of Joe, Musa, or Dembe. We are here because of the militants and their leaders. I'm all ears regarding a plan B.

My dear fellow country men and women,

I don't think it is the right time to start the stone throwing. This is no joke in my view we all need to reflect and think of what lies ahead. What has been done has been done and we can argue the whole next five years but that solves nothing while we have real stakes to tackle.

Let try plan B if plan A fails.

Come on Musa and Demba! Are you guys wishing or are you addressing reality? It is not as if you have not gone this road twice before. Please do not take my word, just call your folks back home and they will tell you what folks are doing with what is going on. You saw it in 2001, 2006, and now 2011 and you want to tell us about hope. What does a thief with a big stick and starving of the masses tell you? You must truly underestimate to stakes we face. Nomination Day! Bro, you may be the only two surprised. If you guys do not want to call the culprits out I do understand, but Gambains are not in the mood for this stroking. How come you guys are not here campaigning since the fat lady is not yet out?

Joe

Good advice my good friend, the fat lady is yet to take the podium and nomination day is still days away. That can be a long time in politics and stuff can still happen.

Thank you

Paco and everybody, please hold your gun. This convention marks the end of a new chapter in Gambian politics and by virtue has opened a new window of opportunity that we all need to pursue further. I am still optimistic that history can be made in this elections.

Call me nave but let's continue the dialogue contentious as it may be!!! This is politics and it travels on a very crooked road!

Nyang, Halifa and the rest of the PDOIS crew deng nu yap dega. Of course Hamat is the flag bearer. If anything, he is the only consistent candidate in the so called United Front. PDOIS has been a joke of a party in this electoral cycle... their partisans supporters will be here arguing until they fall off their chairs, but we are smarter than they give us credit for. Joe didn't have to be a genius to predict that Hamat was going to be a candidate, Hamat had already laid his condition and was accepted by Halifa and his cult followers before Hamat even agreed to sit on the negotiation table. Only Nyang and the rest of the PDOIS crew who've somehow been brainwashed into thinking that this convention idea was the best process for a United Front think that the flagbearer issue was a case that had a pending status. They now must be having a good laugh. Bunch of clowns, the joke is on you. Come Nov. 24, Jammeh will beat all your asses to retirement, Gambians will stay home and most importantly, your party will be remembered as an obstructionist party. Unless you guys wake up from this cult nonsense, PDOIS will never have a huge following with Gambians because all of you are simply out of touch with the average Gambian. Dorlen leka si ndap bi y di-ngen si kopa sufe...Belie yena yi e-nyan la and there was nothing free, fair or democratic about the arrangement of delegates nor the way you invited independent candidates with questionable characters to increase the legitimacy of this nonsense thing you are calling a United Front. The late Kelepha Samba could not have said it better when he said PDOIS will never lead Gambia because PDOIS deng doyadi.

This BBC article http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8273086.stm also could not have profiled Halifa Sallah any better.

May God bless and protect the republic from these blood sucking politicians.

Wow, and wonders never cease in our Gambia. I agree with this much Mawdo Demba.
