Hello, I heard about this on the BBC the other day, and I thought the same
thing.  If they can do it in Zimbabwe, why not The Gambia.  We will see what
happens.  It seems that Africa is starting to turn the corner, as far as the
promotion and upholding of democracy and the rule of law goes.  It hasn't
happened everywhere of course, but there are glimmers of hope.  Let's hope
that things continue to progress for the good for Africa and its people.
