Dear All
Following Demonstrations in London in July 2009....in relation to Human Rights Abuses in Gambia ...it is vital that London takes a key and leading position in reacting to and proactively engaging this Brutal Yayhya Jammeh regime.
To this effect all interested Gambians are invited to a meeting on 15/16 August 2009,at 2pm(pl indicate your preferred day). The idea is to get a structured Grouping and devise a rolling programme of Engaging and addressing issues of concern in Gambia.
We have lots of partners in this exercise in Amnesty international,International federation of Journalists,National union of journalists,The Trade union congress and some media organisations.
Please inform all interested parties to attend, and Gambian welfare groups are invited to send representatives.
